Michael has been hand-crafting mandolins since 1981.  After years of searching, plans were found to re-create the Gibson F-4 Model.  The first Fraser F-4 was finished in late winter 2009.  This mandolin has that great F-4 sound that was popular prior to the legendary Lloyd Loar F-5 Model that ended production of the Gibson F-4’s.
